I first met laura egland when I was an intern at the University of Oklahoma. We were both attending the same graduate program at the time, and I remember her being one of the first people who taught me the importance of asking questions. She was always an inspiration.

laura’s a great writer. She writes stories with an analytical bent, and she’s always on the hunt for hidden meaning. She also finds humor in her research, which I think comes from being a kid who is constantly retelling story after story. I’m always amazed at how many people fail to get the full story. laura’s a great example of someone who can get people to read for more than just the surface meaning of a story they see.

Her approach to writing is very similar to our own. She writes stories for a reason, and our goal is to uncover the underlying meaning of those stories for our readers. This can be challenging for people who don’t know the difference between story and analysis. They don’t know how to ask the right questions, but they can still learn from lauras answers.
