For the first time, I can safely say that a bamboo lighting fixture is not just a piece of junk. They are the best lighting I have ever seen and they will even outperform a regular fixture in the long run.

In the video, you will see that the bamboo fixtures in the video appear to have some sort of a glow to them. I have never seen anything like it before and I am sure it has a lot to do with the natural bamboo’s ability to reflect the light. If you’re interested in trying bamboo lighting fixtures yourself, don’t get one from a store. You will be wasting your money.

Its not just the light that makes bamboo fixtures so cool and useful, but the fact that they are made of bamboo wood. Bamboo is a natural material that has some unique qualities, but for the most part, it is usually found in tropical locales, so it is very durable. Plus, it is very affordable compared to other materials on the market. Bamboo has an amazing ability to absorb and reflect light.

For anyone who plans on trying bamboo lighting fixtures, try to avoid the generic lampshades and just buy a quality metal fixture. It is hard to find bamboo lamps that are worth the money, although you may be able to get a few from places like Home Depot, or Lowe’s, and of course your local hardware store.

One of the best bamboo light fixtures I’ve ever used is the one at Home Depot. I found them by chance when I was trying to find some copper lights at Lowe’s. They were in the way of my other options when I was searching for the right light, so I couldn’t choose the “right” light.
